The Taster Table is designed to provide a place for those giving leadership in the church to taste something of what is happening at this moment. This Table is intended to create a space where we can name what is happening and look at a different way of being God’s people. As God’s people we are called to participate with the Spirit in forming a new kind of society, in calling forth communities of hope right in the midst of our collapsing societies.

The Taster Table includes sessions like:

• Where are we? What has happened?

• What is the Spirit of Jesus saying to us about this situation? How is God calling us to join with Jesus in our neighbourhoods and communities?

• What are the practices that will guide us in this new place?

• What kind of leaders will we need to be to form communities of hope?
